Skeptics Social - Which pseudoscience is most dangerous?

Our second Skeptics' Social group, in a new location, which actually has adequate seating (I've checked this time!), and food. As before, there will be a round of introductions, a 45-minute group discussion, announcements, and an opportunity to get refreshments, followed by 2 hours of free association time.

This month's topic is: "What's the most dangerous form of alternative medicine?". In such a town as Brighton, you can't go far without brushing up against alternative medicine, from homeopathy to anti-vaxxers, jade eggs to black salve. But which one do you think is most harmful?

Come down and meet some like-minded folks, and share your thoughts over a pint!

Skeptics Social - What Made You Fall in Love With Science

We’ve started something new!

In addition to our lecture nights at the Caroline of Brunswick, we’ve now added a social date to our monthly calendar. Set in a friendly pub in the heart of town, this is an opportunity to meet like-minded skeptics, and make friends over a pint.

There will be a group discussion led by Heathen Rose, followed by free association time. This month’s subject is “What made you fall in love with science?”

We’re upstairs so grab a drink and come join us
